How does anyone build trust?
Here is an example: When we apply for even a tourist visa to any country, we have to provide a whole lot of personal details to ascertain our case. The reason is that the authorities don't know you and to build trust they need to verify your statements via valid documents.
A tourist visit is a short term and temporary event, whereas a marital alliance is a life-long bond. Therefore, we need to start off on a solid basis of trust, by being open and providing each other as much (if not more) details than we would provide the visa authorities.

The goal of the app is to BUILD ALLIANCES BASED ON TRUST.

Marriage bureau,“mushata” and newspaper advertisements have traditionally been the primary approach of searching for an alliance for your child. With these traditional approaches, the focus had essentially been on the family values, background and culture rather than the visual appeal of the prospective bride/groom.

With the advent of web and mobile apps, as everything else, this search too moved online. The main focus and appeal of all these apps is the visual appearance (profile picture) of the candidate, with all the critical aspects (family values, background, culture, etc) taking a back seat or being ignored completely. The problem with this approach is that visual presentation can be deceptive - the person is much better than what he/she looks like in the picture, or vice versa. Proceeding without taking into consideration the intricacies of the family involved, typically leads to frustration and serious issues in the marital relations. This is one of the main reasons for the high rate of divorce and separations prevalent in the community.

With the sole intention of providing a platform where matrimonial alliances can be made based on sharia and mutual trust, a bunch of B.E computer science graduates have developed a completely “free to use” android mobile app that caters to our community. There is no option to provide photos of the prospective bride or groom, thereby diverting focus on the family’s sincerity, openness, reliability, and values. Its primary objective is to facilitate building TRUST among two families that are complete strangers.

The goal of this app is to BUILD ALLIANCES BASED ON TRUST. It enables trust based matrimonial alliances by providing a safe and secure platform to share personal data.

To ensure every document is secure, the app does the following:
• Even before upload, the document is immediately secured with AES Encryption on your mobile itself.
• No one, including the app admin, can view any document without your explicit approval on their request to view it.
• After you have approved their request to view a document, that user can view it only via a lens, such that the entire document is never visible on the screen.
• The requested user can view the specific document you approved, only within the next 24 hours, and only ONCE, for a maximum of just 2 minutes.
• Screenshots and Screen recordings are disabled to enhance data security.

YOU have complete control over every document that you upload.
YOU decide which user can view which document.
YOU can delete any of your documents, any time.
YOU can revoke/cancel any approval to the view that you had granted.

The app is designed and developed with security and ease of use as the primary criteria.
The app is completely free to use and was created with the sole intention of serving the community. All the expense in hosting and managing the app is fully borne by the development team.
